Business loan qualification estimator
This business loan qualification estimator sizes a realistic funding range from the three things every funding provider screens first — deposits, time in business and credit.
How much could my business qualify for?
Uses the same three inputs a funding provider screens first: deposits, time in business and personal credit. Using this estimator does not run a credit check and nothing is submitted until you choose to apply.

Country: USA Monthly deposits: $60,000 USD Time in business: 18 months Credit score: 620 Estimated range: $40,000 USD – $89,000 USD Likely products: Merchant cash advance / revenue-based funding; Short-term working capital; Business term loan; Equipment financing Estimate only. Every funded file is fully underwritten (bank statements, business verification, debt service, credit inquiry). What the numbers mean
Deposits set the ceiling, time in business sets the confidence, and credit sets the price. A business with strong deposits but only seven months of history will see a smaller offer than the same deposits at two years, because the funding provider has less history to underwrite against rather than because the business is weaker.
Once you have a range, price it with the loan payment calculator, convert any advance offer using the factor rate to APR calculator, and check today's market pricing on the live rates page. Full detail on thresholds sits on the qualifications and eligibility pages, and the products section explains each option in depth.
The SBA publishes its own 7(a) eligibility requirements, and in Canada the Business Development Bank of Canada publishes its financing criteria.
Frequently asked questions
How much business funding can I qualify for?
Revenue-based funding is usually sized against monthly business deposits, commonly between roughly 0.8 and 1.5 times one month of deposits, adjusted for time in business and personal credit. A business depositing $60,000 a month with 18 months of history and a 620 score typically sees estimates in the tens of thousands rather than the hundreds.
What are the minimum requirements?
Across the products we place: 6 or more months in business, $35,000 or more in monthly business deposits, a 500 or higher personal credit score, and business banking at a traditional bank or credit union. SBA loans require more — 2 or more years in business, $30,000 or more monthly revenue, 650 or higher FICO and two years of profitable tax returns.
Is the estimate an approval?
No. It is an estimate built from published minimums, not an offer. Every funded file is fully underwritten: bank statement analysis, business verification, debt service review and a credit inquiry. Final amount, term and pricing come from the funding provider.
Does the estimator check my credit?
No. It runs in your browser using the numbers you type, nothing is submitted, and no credit inquiry of any kind is performed at this stage.
What if I am below the minimums?
The tool lists exactly which threshold is short. Most gaps close with time: a few more months of operating history, higher deposits, or moving business banking to a traditional institution. It is worth re-checking once any one of those changes.
Do the same numbers apply in Canada?
Credit and revenue minimums are the same. Canadian files require 6 months of business bank statements rather than 3, a CRA Business Number, and CAD-denominated business banking. SBA programs are U.S. only; BDC and CSBFP-style financing are the Canadian equivalents.
Does existing debt reduce what I qualify for?
Yes, significantly. Existing daily or weekly remits are subtracted from available cash flow. Once total debt service passes roughly 25 percent of monthly deposits, most funding providers reduce the amount offered or decline the file.
